mGBA on Android Working version 0.11+ GamehubLite Tips

For everyone that plans to have non-retro-core mgba run on android to have all the network, cheat, script, etc and peripherals stuff, like me.

After alot of tinkering finaly found the setting why mgba 0.11 and above does not run on windows emulation on android.
Setting windows emulation to use windows 7 did the trick. mgba 0.11+ dont like 10/11

In GamehubLite under component you can select and install win7 component. And all other setting default.

Also opening setting crashes mgba in non-portable mode.
Then set to portable mode mgba loads all files from within its working folder and that seam to stop the crashing.

My working setup for Battle Network 4.5 is:

• using custom mgba version with netgate (or possible future normal mgba with netgate)
• set gamehubLite command line start to run with : -f "path/to/game.gba" (for autostart game and fullscreen)
• disable force native rendering in gamehubLite (or it makes drop down windows and setting windows behave strange)
• set game rendering to software (to stop glitches)
• set battlegate, reset, shutdown to 3 gamepad keys. (so you can open battlegate then in fullscreen and restart game to detect gate and stop for getting top toolbar back)
